I Timothy Chapter 3 Verse 1-7, The Holy Bible:

“ This you should know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous (wanting what others have), boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

HAVING A FORM OF GODLYNESS, BUT DENYING THE POWER THEREOF: FROM SUCH TURN AWAY. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with different lusts. Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.”

A few months back, my son came to me with this video and asked me what I thought about it. Then countless others started emailing me and asking questions about it. There comes a point in every mans life, when he must stand up against lies and deception. Now is that time for me.

First off let’s take a little exercise to test the spirit and truth of “The Secret” and see what the source is. Place a cup in front of you and make sure it is empty. Find a place in your home where you can leave it at and not touch it. Now start out every morning in your mind thinking and ‘telling the universe’ (as in the secret video) to fill your cup with coffee or tea or what ever you would like to drink.

Now according to “The Secret” the law of attraction and the universe will create coffee in your cup. Maybe not today, but mysteriously by magic you will get what you want: “By projecting your energy into the universe”.

‘BULL’! THAT IS NOTHING MORE THAN REPACKAGED WITCHCRAFT. Neither one works. If you want coffee you had better make it. I knew a man who constantly said: “ If you want potatoes, you had better pick up the hoe.” Let me tell you where they stole this idea from, and why it is a LIE! The Idea of asking in faith believing came right out of the Bible. But as prophesied 2000 years ago, the idea the secret comes from is no less than witchcraft claiming to be from Biblical inspiration, in short, a false prophet. In other words, it takes a psychological associative law of human interaction, the law of attraction; and endeavors to connect that law with non-associated events. In short, it takes goal setting like what I write about in my book, and seeks to side step the reality of material interaction with efforts. No verbal alchemy can create material reality in any form of matter unless it comes from God’s speaking.

The biggest thing missing from “The Secret” is God, and the second biggest thing missing is the ‘Do’. The Bible says: “Faith without works is dead”. In this book that Christians are flocking to, is a form of godliness, but those in the collection are all NEW AGE and leaders who have adopted Wicca cult doctrine of incantation. They state to think it into being. The first lesson of mankind as taught in the Bible is “I AM NOT GOD”. Only God can think things into existence.

The doctrine of “The Secret” is just as we read in First Timothy: Having a form of Godliness. BUT IT IS NOT GODLINESS. Prayer to God through Christ is Godliness. As for the doctrine of the Secret bunch, The Bible says: FROM SUCH TURN AWAY!

If you desire riches, houses, land, wealth, and to do good with those resources, you must first read what GOD promised to you as a believer in him, and how you achieve your goals. That is called WORK! You can not wish yourself into great achievement; you must put your faith in action and do what is required to achieve a better life and income for you and your family.

I Cor. 10:21 “You cannot drink from Yah’s (God’s) cup and the cup of devils...”

To see the truth about the so called secret, you must first see the source of the drink and why there is a line of separation from lies and truth. Yah Vah God set up principals in the universe to keep an order to things like the law of gravity. Gravity keeps us from floating into space and being frozen to death in the void. Yahshua (Christ) said that “if you ask in faith believing, and it is my father’s will, it shall be done.” If you are asking the “energy” of the universe as the ‘Secret’ tells you to, what energy are you praying to? The Sun? Perhaps it’s 10,000 degree consuming fire will answer and burn up your request. See how silly the idea presented in ‘The Secret’ really is.

Here is the first instance in the Bible of how God told Moses how to be blessed:

Leviticus|26:1 Ye shall make you no idols nor graven image, neither rear

you up a standing image, neither shall ye set up any image of stone in

your land, to bow down unto it: for I am Yah your God.

:2 Ye shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary: I

am Yah.

:3 If ye walk in my statutes, and keep my commandments, and

do them;

:4 Then I will give you rain in due season, and the land

shall yield her increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their

fruit.

:5 And your threshing shall reach unto the vintage, and the

vintage shall reach unto the sowing time: and ye shall eat your bread to

the full, and dwell in your land safely.

:6 And I will give peace in the land, and ye shall lie down,

and none shall make you afraid: and I will rid evil beasts out of the

land, neither shall the sword go through your land.

:7 And ye shall chase your enemies, and they shall fall

before you by the sword.

:8 And five of you shall chase an hundred, and an hundred of

you shall put ten thousand to flight: and your enemies shall fall before

you by the sword.

:9 For I will have respect unto you, and make you fruitful,

and multiply you, and establish my covenant with you.

In essence the above says to be blessed, you must be a blessing. Don’t waste resources on idols that are not real. Rest on the 7^th day Sabbath and worship only the real unseen God. Then you will be blessed and your labor will yield bread, in fact, more than you need, But not without the work.

Setting goals and having faith are a part of my life and it should be a part of yours. But to deny the reality of what we are in the physical world, to imagine that we have greater power than we can display in material existence without proof, is not faith, its hype. This trickery has been used by con men and women for centuries to dupe people into mass hysteria actions and devotion. The root of such lies is usually the trail of money from your pocket to theirs.

Like a road map on the journey of life, when you pray, be sure you know the source you are praying to. Otherwise like a wondering traveler, without a map, you may leave for tropical Florida and end up in the arid desert of New Mexico. “The Secret” in this secret is that those who build their reasoning on its doctrine are building on an empty concept that has nothing to do with the truth about life as we know it. They are teaching the age old doctrine of witches and superstition that thought that words with base carnal energy could manipulate people to do what they wanted, good or evil. Looking at book sales, the con job is working. Thie week I wrote this, the piece of literary trash is number one on the best sellers list. The seductive mind game of “The Secret” is brain washing millions into their bank account. Some of us writers have morals and won’t step to the level of side show carnival barking that “The Secret” displays.

The Real Secret:

MENTORS.

Find a mentor or mentors to help you with advice and written material such as books and audio recordings to help give you a positive attitude and sound direction to completing your goals.

GOALS.

Write down your goals and what you will do with the resources once you achieve your wealth. Like a road map to success, written goals with a purpose give you a mission and a vision to direct your path and associations in business or investing.

ALLIES.

Find people with a similar positive attitude who are willing to help you achieve each others efforts and goals in investing and wealth building. Go out and meet people and you will find many who are looking for friends in business and social life to help each others goals.

WORK.

Do it. Put the work and planning behind your efforts with sweat and by hiring laborers to complete your goal. A large part of this is writing a plan. Countless web sites talk about business plans and how to attract investors to your projects by having a well written expression of what you want to do. Then you must do the leg work and put action behind your ideas.

MARKETING.

Now you must do research, find out what works when presented to the world, and sell it. Sales is a key element to any business or investing plan according to Robert Kiyosaki author of ‘Rich Dad Poor Dad’. You must be able to sell your product and ideas. Gaining solid psychology of sales training is essential for success in any business. All Businesses must sell their product or service to others in order to succeed.

SHARE.

You must be willing to be a part of others lives and share your ideas, products, services, and as Zig Ziglar says: help others; “You can get anything you want in life if you help enough others get what they want.” If you are willing to spread the wealth of efforts you can achieve wealth and do it helping others to do the same. Carleton Sheets has been doing just that for over 25 years on national TV with his ‘No Down Payment’ course.

REST.

The Sabbath rest is God’s law to replenish the land by resting it every 7 years, and the human body by resting every 7^th day. Regardless of your faith or religion, resting is a good way to gain energy for the next weeks work. A large part of this is to rest a portion of your money where it will do good to help others. Find a charity where you can let your dollars do the good work and you rest from spending that portion of your money. I suggest like the Bible, 10%. In this way, you can find strength and self worth in what you do for others and yourself in gaining nourishment in the form of relaxation and giving to the rest of others. When you’re done resting, worship the one true God and ask him to help you achieve your goals together. No matter what you conceive him to be, the truth will set you free.
