Proverbs 14:12 There is a way which seems right unto a man, but the  end thereof are the ways of death.

STATEMENT OF FAITH: Messianic Yahudime (Jewish)

WE BELIEVE THE HOLY BIBLE is the inspired, infallible and authoritative source of Messianic doctrine and precept.

WE BELIEVE THAT THERE IS ONE GOD, YAHWEH, eternally existent in three persons; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, who are all ONE:

Deuteronomy 6:4-5 Hear, O Israel: Yahweh our (God) ALL MIGHTY is ONE:
And thou shalt love Yah thy ALL MIGHTY with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might

WE BELIEVE THAT THE ONLY HOPE for man is to believe on Yahshua Messiah (Jesus Christ), the virgin-born Son of Yahweh God, who died to take upon Himself the punishment for the sin of mankind and Who rose from the dead so that by receiving Him as Savior and Lord, man is redeemed by His Blood.

WE BELIEVE THAT YAHSHUA MESSIAH (JESUS CHRIST) in person will return to earth in power and glory.

WE BELIEVE THAT THE HOLY SPIRIT dwells in those who have received Messiah for the purpose of enabling them to live righteous and godly lives, be filled with joy, and preach the good news of Messiah.

WE BELIEVE THAT THE CONGREGATION is the Body of Messiah (Christ) and is composed of all those who, through belief in Messiah, have been spiritually regenerated by the indwelling Holy Spirit. The mission of the Faith is worldwide evangelization on the one hand and the nature and discipline of Believers on the other hand.

M

essianic Jews believe in the one and only living God—the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob— Yah (YH VH) Creator of heaven and earth.

We are those who believe that the foundation of Judaism established by Torah, the Prophets and the whole of Scriptures is completed in our Yeshua, Yahshua (Jesus), as recorded in the B'rith Hadoshah (the New Covenant). Yashua is Israel's promised Messiah, the redeemer of all. His life, death, resurrection and ultimate return fulfill the Messianic prophecies from the Holy Scriptures (Tenach).

We believe that Yeshua is the way of man's reconciliation with Yahweh God, as given in his sacred name and it's meaning, Yahshua (H3467: Strong's) meaning Yah's Salvation.

As Messianic Jews, we rejoice in the rebirth of the nation Israel, and believe this to be a sovereign work of Yah God in our time.

We firmly believe that there is perfect consistency and harmony from Tenach through the B'rith Hadoshah. Therefore, as Jews who believe in Yashua, we remain faithful to our God-given heritage.

We invite you to join us on Shabbat as we worship the God of Israel together.

Statement of Fundamental Truths

WE BELIEVE:

I.                    That the BIBLE, consisting of the Tenach (Hebrew Scriptures) and the later writings commonly known as the B'rit Hadoshah or the Messianic Writings, are the only infallible and authoritative word of G-d.  We recognize its divine inspiration, and accept its teachings as our final authority in all matters of faith and practice. (Deut.6:4-9; Prov.3:1-6; Ps.119:89, 105; Isa.48:12-16; Rom.8:14-17; 2Tim.2:15, 3:16-17)

II.                 G-D- We believe that the Shema, “Hear O Israel, the L-rd our G-d, the L-rd is one” (Deut.6:4), teaches that G-d is “echad” (one), as so declared: a united one, a composite unity, eternally existent in plural oneness (Gen.1:1 Elohim: G-d); Gen.1:26 “Let us make man in our image”; Gen.2:24 Adam and Eve were created to be as one flesh (basar echad), that He is a personal G-d who created us (Gen.1 & 2), and that He exists forever in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit, as mentioned in Rom.8:14-17 (Father, Spirit and Messiah-Son) and Matt.28:18-20 (immersing in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit).

a.      G-D THE FATHER
Jn.6:27b; 1Cor.1:3; Gal.1:1; Rev. 3:5, 21; Jer. 3:4, 19; Mal.1:6; Matt. 6:9, 32; Lk.10:21-22; Jn. 1:14, 4:23, 5:17-26, 6:28-46; Rom.8:14-15

b.      G-D THE SON (HaBen)

                                                              i.      G-d does have a Son (Ps.2; Prov.30:3-6 (cf.Heb.1); Lk.12:35-37; Jn. 1:29-34, 49, 3:14-18)

ii.      The Son, called Yeshua, (Jesus: meaning salvation), came to this world born of a virgin [Isa.7:14,(cf. Lk. 1:30-35.)].

                                                          iii.      The Son is G-d (Deity), and is worshipped as G-d, having existed eternally (Ps.110:1 (Heb.1:13); Matt.28:18-20; Phil.2:5-11; Col.1:15-19; Rev.3:21 (Heb.1 – worshipped by angels); Rev. 4:8, 5:5-14).

                                                           iv.      This One is the promised Mashiach (Messiah) of Israel (Isa. 9:6-7, 11:1; Dan.9 (esp. verses 20-26); Isa.53; Jn. 1:17, 40-41, 45, 49; Mk.8:29).

                                                             v.      He is the root and offspring of David, the bright and morning star (Num.24:17; Rev.22:16)

vi.      He is our Passover, the Lamb of G-d (1Cor.5:7; Rev.5; Jn.1:29)

c.      G-D THE RUACH HAKODESH (Holy Spirt)

                                                              i.      Introduced in Gen.1:2b

ii.      In the Tenach, the Spirit of G-d came upon individuals during the times of our forefathers, like Moses, David (see 2Sam.23:1-3), and the Prophets, for specific purposes.

iii.      In the New Covenant, the Messiah, Yeshua, promised his disciples that “the Comforter” would come to them after He was gone, described as the Spirit of Truth (Jn. 14:17, 26), who was with them and would be in them.  Yeshua further declared that the Spirit of Truth would guide us into all truth and would glorify Him—the Messiah—not himself (Jn.16:13-15).  He empowers us (Acts 1:8).  He seals us [Eph.1:13, 4:30 (see NIV and Jewish New Testament versions)].  If we have not the Spirit, we are not His (Rom.8:9).  He leads us and teaches us (Rom.8:14-17).  His indwelling enables us to live a godly life.  Acts 2:38 says, “Repent, be immersed, and receive the Holy Spirit.”

III.               MAN

a.      Created in the image of G-d (Gen.1:26-27), but:

b.      Through disobedience, man fell from his state and became separated from G-d (Gen.2:17, 3:22-24).  Therefore, according to the Scriptures, all men are born with a sinful nature (Ps. 14:1-3, 49:7, 53:1-3; Isa. 64:6; Rom.3:9-12, 23, 5:12).

c.      Man’s only hope for redemption (salvation) is through the atonement made by the Messiah (Lev.17:11; Isa. 53; Dan. 9:24-26; 1Cor. 15:22; Heb. 9:11-14, 28; Jn.1:12, 3:36), resulting in regeneration by the Holy Spirit (Tit.3:5), which is the new birth (Jn.3:3-8).  For by grace we are saved, through faith, it is a gift of God (Eph.2:8-9).

IV.              RESURRECTION AND JUDGMENT
We believe in the resurrection of both the redeemed and the lost: the former to everlasting life and the latter to eternal separation from G-d, a state of everlasting punishment (Job 14:14, 19:25-27; Dan.12:2-3; Jn. 3:36, 11:25-26; Rev. 20:5-6, 10-15, 21:7-8).

V.                 THE MESSIAH—THE REDEEMER
The Scriptures promised two “comings” of the Messiah:

a.      First Coming

                                                              i.      Promised in Dan.9:24-26.

ii.      Its purpose was to make an atonement for sin (Dan.9:24-26; Isa.53; Rom.3:21-31; Heb.9-10; Jn.3:16-17)

b.      Second Coming

                                                              i.      Promised coming in the air to receive the believers to Himself (1Thess.4:13-18; Jn.14:1-6; 1Cor.15:51-57).

ii.      Messiah’s return to the earth.

1.      The Redeemer shall come to Zion (Isa.59:20-21, Zech.14:4)

2.      Israel’s spiritual redemption (Zech. 12:8-13:1; Rom. 11:25-27; Heb.9:28; Jer.31:31-40: The New Covenant).

3.      Israel’s national restoration is to recover the remnant of His people Israel from the four corners of the earth, and restore the Davidic Kingdom (Isa.11—to reestablish the throne and kingdom of David, which will last forever) [Isa.9:6-7 (cf. Lk.1:30-33); Jer. 23:3-8].

VI.              ISRAEL IN PROPHECY
We believe in G-d’s end-time plan for the nation of Israel and for the world. A central part of Messianic Judaism is the belief in the physical and spiritual restoration of Israel as taught in the Scriptures. The greatest miracle of our day has been the reestablishment or rebirth of the State of Israel according to prophecy (Ezek. 34:11-31, 36-39; Hos.3; Amos 9:11-15; Zech.12-14; Isa.11:43, 54, 60-62, 66; Rom.11:1-34) (see also Scriptures under V. THE MESSIAH).

VII.            MESSIANIC JUDAISM

a.      We recognize that Jewish people (physical descendants of Abraham through Isaac and Jacob, whether through the mother’s or the father’s bloodline) who place their faith in Israel’s Messiah, Yeshua, continue to be Jewish according to the Scriptures (Rom.2:28-29).  Gentiles who place their faith in Yeshua are “grafted into” the Jewish tree of faith (Rom.11:17-25) becoming spiritual sons and daughters of Abraham (Gal.3:28-29).

b.      We observe and celebrate the Jewish Holy Days given by G-d to Israel, with their fulfillment in and through the Messiah Yeshua.  We believe that true “Biblical Judaism,” the faith of first century believers, which seek to practice, acknowledges the continuity of faith in the one true G-d, revealed throughout the Scriptures, and ultimately manifested in G-d’s Son, Yeshua the Messiah.  We believe that salvation has always been “by faith,” and that works of law, or righteous acts, have never saved anyone (Gen.15:6; Rom.2:6; Eph.2:8-9; Heb.11:6-39).

c.      We acknowledge that the New Covenant body of believers is composed of both Jews and Gentiles who have received Yeshua the Messiah as the promised redeemer.  The “middle wall of partition” has been broken down and now we worship the G-d of Israel together (1Cor.12:13; Eph.2:13-14).

VIII.            MESSIANIC SACRED NAMES USE AND WORSHIP

a. We recognize the Holy Name of the creator YAH and YAHWEH and use the name HaShem in worship, song, and praise with the utmost of respect and caution to not speak His Holy name in vain or without clear leading of the Holy Spirit. (Exd 3:15; 31; Plms 68:4)

b. We recognize the Holy Sacred Name of Yahshua our Messiah, and use the name Yeshua (our salvation) also to insure that His Sacred name is respected in like manner as listed in a. above. (Unger's Bible Dictionary Pg. 713; Zech. 3; Prov. 30:4)

c. We acknowledge that the Holy Spirit is not confounded by the deceptions of Satan in the world, and that the salvation of believers is insured by the person of the Messiah. The titles, names, and usage should be directed by the leading of the Holy Spirit in worship and praise, for witnessing to the Jew, and given the respect and cautions in common usage where the Jewish people may become offended. We should use the sacred for the sacred and allow the Holy Spirit to lead in all truth and revelation as to when and how prophesy is fulfilled by restoration of the Holy Name.

d. We recognize the leading of the Holy Spirit in unity of the faith (1 Corinthians 1:13 Is Messiah divided?) and respect that some messianic Jews use the word Yeshua to avoid using the sacred name, and that Christians use the word Jesus, which in the purest form of Hebrew is transliterated phonetically as Yahoshua, which in the short version is Yahshua; And that according to the words of the prophets, this name is being restored to the true worshipers of Yah God and his people Israel in fulfillment of last day events.

Isaiah 52:6-8 Therefore my people shall know my name: therefore they
shall know in that day that I am he that doth speak: behold, it is I.
How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that
bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of
good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God Yah reigneth!
Thy watchmen shall lift up the voice; with the voice
together shall they sing: for they shall see eye to eye, when Yah
shall bring again Zion.

Isaiah 43:3-12 For I am YAH thy ALL MIGHTY, the Holy One of Israel, thy
Saviour: ...Even every one that is called by my name: for I have
created him for my glory, ... Let all the nations be gathered together, and let the people
be assembled: who among them can declare this, and show us former things?
let them bring forth their witnesses, that they may be justified: or let
them hear, and say, It is truth. Ye are my witnesses, saith Yah, and my servant whom
I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am
he: before me there was no god formed, neither shall there be after me.

I, even I, am Yah; and beside me there is no saviour.  I have declared, and have saved,

and I have showed, when there was no strange god among you: therefore ye are my witnesses,
saith Yah, that I am Yah.

Hosea 2:16-17 &   And it shall be at that day, saith Yah,  that  thou
shalt call me Ishi (Father); and shalt call me no more Baali (Lord).
I will take away the names of Baalim (LORDS) out of her mouth,
and they shall no more be remembered by their name.

And I will sow her unto me in the earth; and I will have
mercy upon her that had not obtained mercy; and I will say to  them which
were  not my people, Thou  art  my people; and they shall say,  Thou art
my God Yahweh.

Zechariah 8:23  Thus saith Yah of hosts; In those days  it shall
come to pass,  that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the
nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We
will go with you: for we have heard  that  Yahweh God  is  with you.

Malachi 1:11  For from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of
the same
my name  shall be  great among the Gentiles; and in every place
incense  shall be  offered unto my name, and a pure offering: for my name
shall be  great among the heathen, saith Yahweh of hosts.

Acts 15:16-17  After this I will return, and will build again the tabernacle
of David, which is fallen down; and I will build again the ruins thereof,
and I will set it up:  That the residue of men might seek after the All Mighty, and all
the Gentiles, upon whom my name is called, saith Yahweh, who doeth all
these things.

Romans 2:28-29  For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither  is
that  circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:
But he  is  a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision
is that  of the heart, in the spirit,  and  not in the letter; whose
praise  is  not of men, but of Yahweh God.

Deuteronomy 12:11 -14 Then there shall be a place which YAH your ALL MIGHTY
(God) shall choose to cause his name to dwell there; thither shall ye bring all
that I command you; your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, your tithes,
and the heave offering of your hand, and all your choice vows which ye vow
unto Yah: Take heed to thyself that thou offer not thy burnt
offerings in every place that thou seest: But in the place which Yah shall choose in one of
thy tribes, there thou shalt offer thy burnt offerings, and there thou
shalt do all that I command thee.

IX.            MESSIANIC DOCTRINE

Messianic Yahudime (Jewish) means 'the people (congregation) who call on the name of YAH (GOD) and follow messiah'. Scripture references are given at the end of this statement. We do not believe in separating the saved by denominations, rather that the unity of the body of believers in the Messiah should be grafted into the Olive Tree in accordance with the Biblical model of the faith in Yahshua (Jesus)
that we all will become perfected, the Bride of Messiah, and the Israel of God.

Yahudime Doctrine:

1.) In Yah (God) The Father, Yahweh the Creator of all, and Yahshua (Jesus) the messiah, and The Holy Spirit: Which is All One; AND in using the correct Hebrew pronunciation of Their Names in praise and worship rather than titles. Deut.6:4-5,Plsm. 68:4,Matt ch.27, & Acts 4:12.

2.) The Holy Spirit has seven inhabitations in the body of messiah being the 7 congregations as revealed in Rev. 4:5 & 5:6 "The Seven Spirits of YAH", which are an expression of the authority given to Messiah's followers as a living temple for Yah the creators habitation. We believe in one Holy Spirit, expressed in the people of Yahweh God with evidence of prophesy and speaking in tongues.

3.) In baptism by immersion (Michvah) in the name of Yah the Father and Yah shua the son and the Holy Spirit.

4.) In baptism of the Holy Spirit with evidence of speaking in tongues or prophesying Eph.1:3.

5.) That Yahshua Messiah (Jesus) came in the flesh, born of the virgin Miriam by the power of YAH, that he died shedding his blood for our sin, was laid in a tomb, and arose 3 - 24 hour days later.

6.) In keeping the 7 feasts of Lev. ch.23 as a sign that we are his people and for a blessing and a promise; As a picture and type of the plan of salvation. Col. ch.2, ICor.5:8

7.) In obeying the Ten Commandments including the forth commandment Sabbath rest.Exd.31:12-18,Romans 3:31, Gal.6:7-9

8.) That Yah Shua (Jesus) was impaled on an upright stake so that mankind could be born of the Spirit, Born Again, and that the only biblical authorized symbol of true worship is the seven lamp stand menorah (seven candlesticks); AND that Messianic Yahudime (Jews) should not worship under symbols of false gods. Deut.10:16, Jerem.4:4, Jerem 10, Romans 2:28-29, Gal. 6:15-16, John3;3-8, Exd.25:31-37, Rev.1:20, Amos 5:24-26, & Acts 7:43.

9.) In only eating foods called "clean" in the bible. Lev.20:25, Deut14:3-26. (This is not Kosher according to the standards of the Jewish religions which add 6000 plus laws to the original 613 of the old testament.)

10.) The biblical given proof of salvation is to test the spirit(s) to see if they be from YAH (God) and that one publicly confesses Yah Shua as messiah who came in the flesh, born of a virgin; That we repent from sin to keep the commandments in Love and Love of the truth. 1John 2:3, Rev. 12:17 & 14:12, 2Thes. Ch.2.

11.) That Yahshua Messiah was born during the Hebrew feast of tabernacles not in the Roman 12th month. Luke 1:8-9 & v.26, Chr.8:14, Lev.16:17.

12.) That 'religion' as a world system with it's political base is Babylon Mystery Religion; And that we are commanded by Messiah to come out of systems that divide the true unity of The Holy Spirit. 1Cor.1:13, Rev. 2:6&15, Rev.18:4.

13.) That the ANTI-Messiah will come first claiming to be messiah, before Messiah Yahshua returns; AND that this son of perdition will cause all men both great and small to be marked in the right hand or forehead to buy and sell. This anti-messiah will make war with those who will not join his false worship. 1John 2:18, Rev. 13:15-18.

14.) Yahshua will return in the flesh in the same manor which he departed, at the sound of the seventh trump to take the Israel of Yah ( both Jews and Gentiles called by his name) to be with Him forever. Acts15:15-17, 1Cor.15:52.

15.) That armed resistance to governments, religions, and spiritually wicked rulers in high places is not the will or doctrine of messiah or the bible; Which teach us to go willingly as a lamb to our death if our faith require. Eph.6:12, 1John 2:6.

16.) That the 66 books of the Bible are the inspired word of Yah God All Mighty and scripture given for correction and reproof, to build the body of Messiah and empower the Missionary, Prophet, Elder, Evangelist, and Teacher, AND every believer to witness the truth of salvation to the world.

17.) That the 7 feast seasons of Lev. 23, are the only authorized Holy Days (Sabbaths or times of resting) of Yah God and that these feasts embody and typify the plan of salvation and Yahweh God's eternal plan to redeem the world and His people, both Jew and Gentile, unto himself.  Colossians 2:16-17 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Messiah. These seasons and days are Passover, Unleavened Bread, Pentecost, Atonement, Feast of Trumpets, Feast of Tabernacles, and The Last Great Day.

REF: 1Cor.15:51-52, John 14:2-3 & 23, 1John 2:3-4; 3:20-22, Phlp 3:20-21, Acts 14:11, Romans 10:17, IIThess.2:1-12, Matt. 27:46-50, Rev. 18:1-24; 21:1-22, Plsm 135:13; 45:17; 20:7, Proverbs 18:20, Amos 5:21-27, Jerm. 10:1-25; 23:25-27; 32:28-36; 44:15-29. (Unger's Bible Dictionary pg. 131, 713;  Strong's Number H3467; H3068; H3069; H1961; H2063; H2088)

We believe that the sacred names of Yah, Yahweh, and Yahshua are being restored to the Jewish people as prophesied in the Bible. Many Christians and Messianic Jews use the names Jesus, Yeshua, Christ, and Lord, which are common names or titles that are all expressions of the same God and His only begotten son. Proverbs 30:4 shares the question of what is his sacred name and what is his son's name. We seek unity in the faith for the purpose of Yahweh, not division which only serves the purpose of Satan. The Bible says the Spirit will teach you all truth. John 4:23 and we should worship in Spirit and Truth.

YAHUDIME believe in salvation through grace, not of works, so no man should brag.   Back To www.YahsWay.org   or www.ThinkYah.org
