Sitting down to watch your favorite TV show was once the highlight of an evening cup of tea in the land before fast forward DVR systems. The light hearted shows of the past were rarely current and the comedy and drama of prime time never political or biased. So what if your favorite TV show was pitching for the other side? Would you file a complaint with the FCC? I Did!
Last May 19th, 2008 the season finale of FOX TV's HOUSE aired part two of two in the "Wilson's Heart" series special. To Most Viewers Episode 88 was like any other with the pill popping Doctor acting out his diagnostic skills until we get to about 24 minutes into the program when a bathroom scene is 'Toe Tapping' reminiscent of recent events with a certain republicans Gay encounter in an airport rest room. At that precise moment in the show, a sign in the stage left, right hand corner of the screen jumps out with Obama-lation: "VOTE FOR CHANGE" .
So is your favorite TV show deserving of an FCC complaint for election tampering? Or free advertising for their favorite candidate? Is this type of subliminal message planed into certain network shows to get you to sheepishly vote for who the big power and media money "Big Brothers" wants to win?
According to a complaint filed with the FCC today on form 2000E one DVR viewer of the hit show HOUSE thinks that the slogan "VOTE FOR CHANGE" in the context of the obvious Republican bashing scene of the final episode of this May was just another attempt by the left wing media producers of Hollywood to brainwash the weak minded public into a vote for Obama.
In the opinion of this reporter Hugh Laurie should demand a election bias bonus and Emmy in the slipped right by the sensor category of subliminal federal election tampering visual effects in the context of republican bashing scene of blatant media attempts to get a left wing democrats into the white house with free advertising award. What would O'Reilly Say?
